What's new for riders
- The trainer's resistance works when another app had it first. A trainer takes orders from one app at a time: if Zwift (or a phone companion) still held it, Cyclarena was refused once and never sent any resistance. It now asks again every few seconds, and the Devices page says when another app is in the way.
- Cadence from wherever it is counted. A trainer that always reports 0 rpm in one of its data streams no longer hides the real cadence from another one (or from a cadence sensor).
- The legs keep turning: with power but no cadence, the rider pedals at a steady 60 rpm.
- The lap bell. A bell rings as you start a lap that ends in the finish, a sprint or an elimination. Volume in Settings > Sound.
- Clearer countdowns: "elimination this lap", "next lap", "in 3 laps" (and the same for points-race sprints).
- Done, not abandoned: the End ride button turns green once your race is over or your workout is done.
- Keyboard: arrows or A / D steer, up / down or W / S change gear, the space bar brakes, C goes through the views and 1 to 7 pick one (chase, high, close, first person, front, TV, side).
- Zwift Play: paddle shifting works on Play firmware 2, and the pads are no longer split left / right (one connection carries both). On older firmware the side buttons and on/off were swapped: fixed.
- Try before you buy: every item in the shop has a Preview button that puts it on your rider. The rating bars fit their cards.
- Coins and level sit in the top-right corner, clear of the menu.
- Riding needs a confirmed email address: enter the code we emailed you (Account page). Rides done before are kept and saved once the address is confirmed.

What's new for riders
- A whole catalogue of equipment, by brand. 45 frames for road, time trial, track, gravel and mountain bikes, 39 wheelsets, 17 helmets and 11 pairs of glasses, from Altavia, Vento Corse, Ferrox, Nordvik, Rockhart, Halden, Quillon, Aerolith and more. Each looks like itself: lugged steel, titanium, aero carbon, suspension forks and full suspension, disc or rim brakes, deep rims, discs, three-spokes, knobbly tyres. You hold each bike as you would: flat on time-trial extensions, sitting up on a mountain bike's flat bar.
- Ratings that are real. Every piece is rated 1 to 10 against the others of its kind: Weight, Aero and, for wheels, Road efficiency or (gravel and mountain-bike wheels) Dirt efficiency. They change the ride: weight is mass, aero is drag (time-trial bars put you lower, a flat bar sits you up), efficiency is how freely the tyres roll. Knobbly tyres are slow on the boards and on tarmac.
- Wheels fit their own bikes: gravel wheels on gravel frames, mountain-bike wheels on mountain bikes, road wheels on road and time-trial frames, track wheels on track frames. A new frame comes with its basic wheels.
- Prices follow quality, and everything costs more: the best frames take about 1,500 km of riding at 10 coins a km. The starter bike, wheels and helmet stay free.
- Levels. You earn 10 XP a kilometre: level 2 at 100 XP, then 50 XP more for each level, up to level 50. Your level starts from the kilometres you have already ridden. Equipment levels up too, from 1 to 10, as you ride it: a little lighter and a little faster each time, never more than a real upgrade would be.
- More socks and shoes: eight sock patterns in two colours, five heights, and road, classic, knit, track, mountain and aero shoes.
- New camera views: Close chase, High chase (10 m up), First person and Front (looking back at the rider and whoever is behind).
- Screen settings on Windows and macOS: full screen, exclusive full screen or a window, and any resolution your display offers (Settings > Screen).

What's new for riders
- The Windows game draws the velodrome and the riders again. Versions 0.1.9 to 0.1.12 showed no 3D at all on Windows.
- Zwift Play: choose which pad is left and which is right on the Devices page, with the Left / Right buttons next to each pad. The game remembers the choice for each controller. Guessing the side from the pad's messages turned a right pad into a left one.

What's new for riders
- The trainer can't run away any more. Resistance changes at most once a second and ramps by at most 1 % of gradient at a time, the speed behind virtual gears is smoothed, and a gear adds at most 8 %: on 0.1.10 an Elite Justo 2 could climb to a wall within seconds.
- Steering needs speed, like a real bike: full from 20 km/h, slower below, none standing still.
- Every menu page scrolls: on Devices, Profile and Settings the bottom (e.g. the controller buttons) was cut off.
- Zwift Play buttons are named by controller ("left controller button 1"), with defaults set up from a real pair. Telling the two pads apart automatically didn't work: fixed in 0.1.13.

What's new for riders
- Riding needs a Cyclarena account. Sign in or create a free account first: the Ride page says so and takes you to the Account page. Your rides and progress are saved to it.
- Smoother trainer resistance. The trainer follows the road's gradient as fast as it can take changes, and outside rides (menus, device search) Cyclarena leaves it alone: nothing is sent when it connects, and after a ride it's set back to a flat road once.
- Controller button setup is easier to find: "Set up controller buttons" now sits right under your connected devices.

What's new for riders
- Elite Justo 2 and other trainers with Zwift's Bluetooth service are now recognised as trainers (they were taken for a controller and showed 0 W).
- Choose what each controller button does. With a Zwift controller connected, Devices → "Set up controller buttons": press Set next to an action (brake, shift, steer, menu…) and then the button you want.
- Quit button at the bottom of the menu on Windows and macOS.
- Your profile follows your account. Height, weight and FTP set on cyclarena.com (or another device) now replace the game's at start and sign-in, unless you changed them in the game since.
- Deleting your account now happens on cyclarena.com (My account); the game links there.
- On the website: browsers offer to save your password, and Report a bug asks for an email (or to sign in) so we can reply.

What's new for riders
- Your bike's weight comes from your bike. Each frame and wheel in the shop now has its own weight, shown in the shop; your bike weighs what you equip in the Garage (about 7.4 to 7.7 kg). The Profile page shows it, and the old "bike weight" setting is gone, as is maximum heart rate, which nothing used.
- Strava. Connect your Strava account on cyclarena.com (My account) and every ride of 1 km or more is sent to Strava automatically, as an indoor ride with power, cadence, speed and (if you agreed) heart rate.
- Create your account on the website too, and confirm your email there.
- What's new and Report a bug pages on cyclarena.com.
- Your sensors' make and model are recorded with each ride, to keep results fair.

What's new for riders
- Your rides are saved to your account. Sign in, ride for a minute or more, and the ride is kept on your account: time, distance, average and maximum power, normalized power, cadence and, if you agreed to it, heart rate. No connection? The ride waits on your device and goes up next time.
- My account on cyclarena.com. See your totals and all your rides with a power and heart-rate chart, download each ride as a .FIT file (for Strava, Garmin Connect, intervals.icu...), delete rides, and edit your profile.
- Your profile follows you. FTP, weight, height, bike weight and maximum heart rate are saved to your account and come back when you sign in on another device. Every change is kept in your profile history.
- Account emails: the confirmation and password-reset codes now go out from cyclarena.com, and the app tells you to look in your spam folder too.
